TASCAM 202 MKIII Dual Cassette Deck Needs Control Belts for sale in Greensboro, NC
TASCAM 202 MKIII Dual Cassette Deck **Parts or Repair, Needs Control Belts** This auction is for a TASCAM 202 MKIII Dual Cassette Deck, as pictured. Please read description completely to understand what you're buying, since it's sold "as is" for parts or repair.Very clean former university property, functional when removed from service during equipment upgrades. Subsequently stored on a shelf for over five years, during which time both control belts deteriorated and now need replacement. Capstan belts each look OK from what I can see, but probably a good idea to replace them anyway, while you're doing the others. Powers up, both motors run, good display. Gears all seem intact visually, no broken pieces floating around when cover was removed for inspection. Deck 2 doesn't eject because carriage is stuck in cassette loaded position due to cam wheel getting out of sync from belt break, but will most likely reset itself upon belt replacement. Should probably be fine once belts get installed, but no guarantee because of how long it has been idle and unused. Pictures are of item being sold, fast shipping, quality packed, online trackable. Thanks for looking and for bidding! Items normally ship the next day, two at most, after payment is received. I pack things right, feedback mentions that frequently. All items are insured to full value and trackable online. I return all feedback received, sometimes it takes me a few days, but it will happen. Items are described as accurately as possible and if said to be tested and working, then please be assured that is true. If sold "as is", buyer assumes all risk of any untested problem that may be present, with all sales final. I will NEVER auction something with known issues, without mentioning it in the listing, but I buy lots of equipment and sometimes acquire pieces that I either have no expertise to test, or don't have equipment on hand required to perform testing, so in those situations items are sold "as is". Auctions are always "what you see & read is what you get", so if something is not shown in photos or described in text, such as cables, power cords, software, etc., it's probably not included. I'll be happy to answer questions you may have, just please ask before, not after bidding. Sometimes UPS listed shipping will be substituted with FedEx and vice-versa, depending on your location and fastest transit time available.
