Forklift Operator Warehouse

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:
With reasonable accommodation if required, operate material handling equipment and load/unload trucks and move material between locations within the facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS OF THE POSITION:

While maintaining a safe driving and work environment, operate sit-down (counterbalanced) forklift (including clamp truck) to load and unload material, provide material to presses and other manufacturing locations, and take-away finished product and work-in process.
Transport/dump waste hoppers and destroy (shred) rejected product according to established procedures.
Use manual material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks to move material.
Maintain inventory levels, use barcode scanner and enter information in computer system (Seradex ERP System) to receive/transfer paper and work-in-process material from vendors and between company locations.
Ensure completion of all required paperwork, forms, etc. to document materials movement, destruction, etc.
Use Quality Management System (Intelex QMS) computer to document defective material and other non-conformances.
Inspect forklift on a daily basis to ensure safe operation and notify supervisor of defects
Maintain inventory of solvents and press chemicals in the flammable (chemical) shed.
Performs other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Clean driving record
Minimum five (5) years' experience operating sit-down, counter-balanced fork lift, clamp
truck and stand-up reach truck.
Good visual acuity and color vision
Ability to drive, walk, stand or bend for 10-12 hours.
Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work on any shift (day or night and 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts)
Must be able to adhere to stringent security and safety rules.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
