Financial Analyst
TRC has an immediate need for a Financial Analyst. This is a direct hire role with our customer located in Greensboro, NC. The Financial Analyst will support the company's growth initiatives through the development, production and interpretation of data analysis, modeling and reporting with high visibility to executive management. Supports a diverse range of projects aligned to our customers' strategy, including acquisitions, joint ventures, integration activities, new business opportunities, strategic pricing exercises, facility expansions, etc.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
o Supports the development and implementation of company strategic initiatives including:
o Building robust financial models
o Creating Effective PowerPoint and presentation/communication materials
o Researching and analysis
o Project management & Documentation
o Process design
o Facilitating discussions
o Working effectively with cross-functional partners to develop viable solutions
o Works with business units and finance to assess, monitor and provide strategic guidance regarding business units.
o Analyzes the marketplace and environment to identify trends and opportunities.
o Understands performance, forecasts and tracking of each business unit.
o Works with division leader and respective business units to define and track Key Performance Indicators.
MINIMUM:
o BA/BS undergraduate degree in Finance/Economics/Accounting or equivalent experience.
o Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
o The ability to plan, execute and deliver on projects in a timely manner.
o Strong attention to detail, organization and exceptional follow-up skills.
o Strong computer skills including Microsoft office and research tools.
o Confidence presenting to key stakeholders.
o Experience in building and navigating financial models, and performing financial analysis including but not limited to financial/transactional ratio analysis.
o Strong fundamental understanding of finance and accounting required as well as enterprise valuation methodologies including discounted cash flow, comparable company analysis and exit-multiple analysis.
o Team contributor with the ability to communicate effectively and succinctly, both verbally and on paper.
o Ability to work within a changing environment and deal effectively with ambiguityEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
