Due to growth in its business, our consumer products (apparel) client is seeking a Retail Planner to join its team in Greensboro, NC. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales and collaborating with retailers and Account Executives, the Planner will develop and monitor buy plans that meet inventory turn and margin goals.
This is a small, trusting team in a deadline-driven work environment where performance and accountability are met with flexibility and a true balance between professional and personal life.
Primary Job Functions:
1. Account Travel as needed
2. Weekly/Seasonal Sales Summaries
3. Key Account Planning presentations (Category analysis and Assortment Planning Analysis)
4. Booking Report Projections and Account Projections
5. Sales Meeting and Strategy Meeting Preparation (Seasonal Selling - Account and Brand recaps)
6. Report Analysis and Development
7. Account Planning Liaison/Direct Interaction
Education: BA in Business Admin or related field
Experience: 3 years of experience with retail performance
Skills and Traits: Data query, ERP, advanced spreadsheet skills, solid understanding of retail math, excellent communication and presentation skills required, Retail Link and Workbench experience a big plus.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
