## Description
General Summary:
The Business Analyst works closely with all Manufacturing team members in identifying and defining key business process flow improvements through data analysis & problem solving. Leads cross functional team through the development of policies and procedure documentation for proposed process improvements. He/she will document requirements, coordinate functional evaluations and ensure focus on continuous improvement of all manufacturing business processes. The Analyst will also be responsible for maintaining current systems data analysis processes and assisting in the implementations and testing of new or enhanced systems.
Responsibilities:
1. Analyzes current business processes (plan vs. actual) to identify areas of constraints and translate into mitigation plans and process improvements.
2. Recommends technical/business problem solving solutions that are comprehensive, fiscally responsible and encompasses cutting edge technology.
3. Gathers and analyzes, documents and test data.
4. Identifies outliers, leading indicators, trends, and pitfalls to develop proactive mitigation plans.
5. Prepares reports supporting department goals and objectives.
6. Designs, establishes, develops, reporting standard for the _Manufacturing & Support areas._
7. Maintains database and provides quality assessment to ensure data accuracy and constancy.
8. Understands Lean Manufacturing concepts, Kaizen, or project management concepts including scope management planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
9. Implements business Continuous Process improvement.
10. Aids in creation and maintenance of department metrics, KPI, and related analytical tools.
## Qualifications
Education, Experience, Certification and/or Licensure:
1. __Bachelors'' degree in Program Management, Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field strongly preferred or 5 yrs experience in lieu of degree.
2. 2-3 years'' experience in manufacturing a plus.
3. 3-5 years' experience in finance a plus.
4. Six Sigma training or experience a plus.
5. SAP & SAP Business Objects Experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
2. Excellent presentation skills
3. Excellent interpersonal skills.
4. Strong experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes, and Project Management).
5. Experience in modeling estimating and statistical analysis preferred.
6. Strong analytical and statistical analysis skills.
7. Experience with data mining in ERP or MRP systems (i.e. SAP).
8. Ability to multitask.
Physical Requirements:
1. Incumbents may be routinely exposed to equipment operational noise heat-cold-dust, and/or aircraft equipment, parts, or fuel odors.
2. Incumbents may be required to stand, sit, squat, walk, bend, move, reach, or stretch for prolonged time periods with no restrictions, as required by job duties.
3. Work in a safe and professional manner while adhering to all regulatory requirements (FAA, OSHA, DOT, EPA, State, and Federal regulations, etc.).
4. Read, hear, speak, and see with no restrictions, as required by job duties.
5. Comprehend and adhere to management directions and/or safety instructions with no restrictions.
6. Effectively communicate in Business English language.
7. Pull, push, carry, lift, or move items up to 10 lbs. throughout the work shift without assistance, as required by job duties.
8. Pull, push, carry, lift or move materials/people/items/equipment weighing up to 50lbs or more during the work shift, with the use of Company provided "reach assistance technology" or "movement assist technology" (fork-lifts, pallet jacks, pulleys, dolly's, robotics reach equipment, people movers etc.), as required by job duties.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
