Our client in Greensboro, NC has an immediate need for two Project Coordinators in their prototype build group!

Work description
The Vehicle Delivery Control Leader is responsible for maintaining the necessary conditions to have a successful and efficient prototype build event. This consists of making sure that project build requests have been requested in the Vehicle Update Meeting, that the Vehicle
manager
is aware of and has prepared the project through Protus (vehicle documentation system) documentation, that the funds have been secured through Mailforms, that those responsible for carrying out the work have been informed, that a complete parts list has been identified by the project, and that the components and test objects arrive to the build site on time. The person in this role must coordinate the build preparation activities and secure the plan for all components necessary for the build. As such, the Vehicle Delivery Control Leader must possess and utilize purchasing, materials management, logistics, project management, and basic engineering knowledge and capabilities.

Core Responsibilities
Maintain an accurate parts list for all of the assigned project prototype builds
Evaluate build event parts lists for missing components, incomplete plans, and possibilities for optimization
Follow-up with the Vehicle Manager to ensure that they are updated on the status of the process, scope, content, and plan for the build
events

Secure and issue the Mailforms, Requisitions, and Jena (inventory system) entries for parts to be procured.
Communicate the need to pull parts and identify the time parts are needed to arrive (which dictates the mode of transportation).
Communicate the status of parts procurement efforts through regular weekly updates of the HLBP
Communicate plans, assess readiness, and identify build risks with the build responsible individuals, support functions (ex. frames), other prototype team members, and project team members through the scheduling and facilitation of prototype build scope meetings
Update all documentation (parts lists, Jena, etc.) with the latest updates (ETA's, details regarding parts deliveries, evaluations of reasons why parts are late, etc.)
Attend project and build meetings as needed to communicate with the project teams.
Track money spent versus money secured through Mailforms
Utilize every opportunity to work with PDPM's to make sure that project teams adhere to the build process and comply with our policies.
Participate in the ongoing improvement of client systems capabilities
Activities necessary to successfully build prototype
vehicles
on time.

Requirements
Minimum education: BS Degree, preferably in engineering or business, alternatively 10 years of applicable automotive experience.
Minimum
Experience: 3 years in an engineering, purchasing, or project management role.
Preferably, knowledge of client systems
Familiarity with documentation systems and the ability to connect variant strings to parts
Must be skilled at problem solving, communication, analytical thinking, planning, and taking initiative.
Knowledgeable of purchasing best practices and processes
Knowledgeable of project management best practices and processes
Knowledgeable of materials management and logistics best practices and processes
Able to use an engineering perspective to identify missing components, plans, or documentation within requested parts procurement activities.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
