The E-Commerce Manager is directly responsible for the operations of one or more locations in accordance with GICNC's established operating procedures as outlined in the Ecommerce Standard Operating Procedures manual (ECOMMSOP).
They manage and direct E-Commerce personnel to meet the cultural and fiscal objectives supporting the organization's mission.
Ecommerce Managers serve as a role model and mentor for all employees, promoting teamwork and exemplary customer service.
Primary Functions:
Directs, hires, trains, and supervises all E-Commerce staff and trainees, providing guidance, evaluations, and disciplinary action as needed.
Provides operational training for all assigned employees in accordance with the established training guidelines in the ECOMMSOP.
Ensures compliance with established security, sales, and record keeping procedures and practices as defined in the ECOMMSOP.
May accept, sort, grade, produce and recycle items in accordance with ECOMMSOP guidelines, producing enough product to meet minimum production standards.
Strategically handles daily operations of the ECOMM site, solving problems and finding solutions for issues and concerns so that ECOMM meets and exceeds the sales goals on a consistent basis.
Understands the inventory control systems in place for the accurate accountability of listings.
Minimizes shrink by maintaining accurate counts and accountability for the product.
Leads ECOMM and assigned personnel in achieving the budget, coaching appropriate techniques and holding team members accountable for established budget and quotas on a consistent basis.
Coaches and motivates employees and program associates for increased effectiveness Coordinates with various departments to ensure product flow meets program needs Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Must have a valid NC driver's license, acceptable driving record, reliable vehicle, adequate vehicle insurance coverage and be able to travel locally on a daily basis.
Must have a minimum of two years of management experience, as a store, site, production or warehouse manager.
Excellent skills and understanding of Ecommerce platforms, technology, peripheral devices, tools and equipment.
Advanced digital skills needed for managing multiple platforms and software.
Includes intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite and Internet browsing.
Excellent researching, organizational, oral and written communication skills.
Two years of specialization in antiquities, vintage clothing or collectables, jewelry, or other collectable experience and training preferred.
Ability to independently negotiate competing priorities and facilitate productive relationships with diverse teams.
Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills.
Must understand the importance of E-Commerce priorities, product and description, customer service and shipping.
Inventory control knowledge required.
Exceptional customer service skills required.
Must have the ability to discern product value, have solid problem solving skills, and demonstrate sound judgment.
Must be bondable.
Experience in guiding and developing team members is preferred.
Must be able to work varied hours/days to oversee department operations.
Working Conditions/Environment:
Work is typically performed in a warehouse environment and does require working off site retail locations for the purpose of collecting goods.
Requires ability and willingness to work varying schedules, extended hours and have flexibility towards work schedule to meet the demands of a management position.
Physical/Mental Demands:
This position requires the ability to handle a fair amount of stress due to full responsibility and accountability for E-Commerce operations and outcomes.
Handles customer service issues, problem solves on a regular basis, balances multiple tasks simultaneously, meets required deadlines, and must be able to make rapid decisions regarding process flow when necessary.
S/he must convey a professional and positive image and attitude regarding GICNC to internal staff and externally to all stakeholders at all times.
Must be able to speak effectively to small groups, and have a good command of written and spoken English.
Light to medium work (up to 25 pounds), stooping/bending, lifting, pulling, pushing, carrying, standing, walking, reaching, handling, occasional climbing, talking, hearing, good eyesight and color vision.
Salary:
Starting at $50,440 annually

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
