Talent Pool - Administrative & Clerical This position is accountable to coordinate all activities of Volunteer Services, including planning, organizing, and managing the recruitment, training and utilization of volunteers.
Also accountable to coordinate community outreach activities including organizing community/employer health fairs, community education seminars, and representing Annie Penn Hospital within the community.
The schedule for this role is M-F, 8am - 5pm, some weekends and evenings
Responsibilities:
Recruit, interview, select and place individuals in a variety of volunteer programs while meeting all regulatory requirements including background checks and health screens.
Plan, organize and direct services for the use of volunteers to supplement the activities of regular hospital staff.
Identify needs and opportunities for the development of volunteer services in concert with other hospital departments.
Oversee the operations of the gift shop with a focus on maximizing service and profitability.
Recruit, employ, train and supervise paid staff.
Develop and implement policies and procedures for the training and supervision of volunteers and their activities within the hospital, including performance evaluation.
Represent the health system in volunteer services related activities and strive to maintain a positive relationship with its members.
Serve as an ad hoc member of the Hospital Volunteer Board.
Provide guidance and support to this board in all its activities.
Oversee the compilation and maintenance of statistical records and the generation of reports, including volunteer statistics and departmental activities.
Establish an annual budget for approval by the Director and work within that budget.
Oversee the fundraising aspect and distribution of funds raised by volunteer events.
Responsible for collecting and reporting Community Benefit Reports.
Plan, organize and implement community/employer health fairs, community education seminars and additional community events as needed.
Coordinates assistance with Annual YMCA Turkey Trot, Cone Health Cancer Screenings, monthly art displays and other assigned duties.
Participates in community related workshops/committees as a partner and strategically positions Annie Penn Hospital/Cone Health.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
Bachelors - Required Masters - Preferred Knowledge of health care environment/operations preferred.
Experience:
Experience in management in a volunteer setting and/or the health care field in areas such as public affairs, human resources or other areas which provide experience in transferable skills.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:
REQUIRED Drivers License Valid Drivers License PREFERRED.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
