Responsibilities:
Responsible for medical front office operations.
Obtain pre authorizations and referrals.
Provide assistance to patients with insurance-related inquiries.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient insurance records.
Stay updated on changes in insurance regulations and policies.
Verify patient demographics and insurance information is accurate.
Collect co pays , deductibles, and co insurance.
Schedule appointments.
Familiarity with HIPAA privacy requirements.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as front office/insurance specialist.
Experience in verifying insurance benefits and obtaining pre authorizations and referrals.
Familiarity with medical terminology and scheduling procedures.
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and guidelines.
Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling insurance information.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
