Summary:
Key aspects of this role is to gather, validate, and analyze complex data to create actionable reports in order to improve overall processes and profitability of Harris Teeter as it relates to unsaleables.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Acquiring data from primary and secondary sources, migrating, and maintaining all data related to unsaleables.
Ad hoc reporting related to unsaleable data.
Work with 3rd party to update and validate unsaleable master item file.
Make sure info is correct and then add Harris Teeter info for total reporting.
Ensure accurate credit is given to stores and researching credit variances.
Work with accounting to amend invalid credits and billings.
Point of contact for store questions and concerns related to reclaim and Universal Waste.
Assist in maintaining vendor policies within Harris Teeter and 3rd party systems.
Assist manufactures with questions relating to billing and reporting.
Locate and define new process improvements and opportunities.
Gives insights and makes recommendations on process improvements including manufacturer and vendor changes.
Develops and updates functional and operational manuals outlining established methods of work.
Create, update, and maintain systems required for unsaleables reporting.
Prepare or assist with manifest and billing for salvage brokers to include product information and current pricing.
Prepare or assist with invoicing or bill of ladings for salvage and donation loads.
Prepare credit files for Universal Waste (hazardous program) and non-returnable transfers.
Other duties may be assigned or required.
