The RN performs all the steps of the nursing process including assessing patients, interpreting data, planning, implementing and evaluating care.
In addition, the RN coordinates care with other providers and acts as a teacher to the patient and family to provide the knowledge and skills needed to manage their care and prevent complications.
Essential Functions Informing and prepping patients on different procedures Assisting physicians with endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures Preparing, cleaning and sterilizing the procedure equipment and supplies Advising patients on dietary needs for certain gastrointestinal illnesses Administering and monitoring a patient's sedation Giving patients medications and intravenous drips Helping patients recover after procedures Observing patients' vital signs during procedures Answering patients' questions or concerns before and after procedures Documenting patients' condition while in their care Updating patient records and completing discharge forms Job QualificationsEducationGraduate of an accredited School of NursingExperience Must have 1 year prior travel experience conscious sedation experience preferred EPIC experience required Telemetry experience required License/Certification Current NC or compact R.

License Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS PALS preferred COVID and FLU vaccination required -Religious and medical exemptions onlyKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong communication skills - Ability to read, write and understand the English language.

$2,340 Gross= $1241 weekly taxable+$1099 Weekly stipend
