Summary:
Performs protective and enforcement functions in coping with emergencies, undesired conduct, disturbances, and threats to welfare and property to maintain a safe and secure environment for all customers and staff.
Essential Functions /
Responsibilities:
Identify and access situations where security violations have occurred and takes reasonable and prudent action to enforce the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of Boxcar Bar
Arcade.
Takes immediate and decisive action against actions and situations which may cause injury to customers and staff or injury to property Documents and reports any irregularities, incidents, or emergency actions concerning safety and security Understands and adheres to Boxcar Bar
Arcade's Conflict Management and Use of Force policies Interfaces with local law enforcement as situations require
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of two years related experience General knowledge of security methods and procedures Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions Good judgement and the ability to make timely and sound decisions Strong interpersonal skills Bilingual is a plus Prior military or law enforcement is a plus Competencies:
