Position Summary
Provide financial accounting, analyses and support. Assist with accounting reports and closings (monthly, quarterly and annual) as directed. Perform variance analysis, reconciliations and general accounting support to assigned locations. Monitor activities within the general accounting function. Work to improve the day-to-day financial recording of transactions.
Requirements
Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required Bachelor's degree in Accounting a plus
Accounting experience a plus, but not required; GAAP knowledge
Manufacturing or construction materials experience a plus
Exceptional interpersonal skills, verbal and written with ability to communicate with all levels of management
Excellent computer and software skills, with the ability to learn, adapt to and implement new systems. Proficiency in Excel a must
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced environment
This role requires a team player with a customer-service approach to co-workers and vendors, and a passion for collaborative improvement and implementation of effective work processes, procedures and standards.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
