Description
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for collecting, managing, analyzing large volumes of data while ensuring a high level of data quality. The analyst will work closely with merchandising and marketing teams as a thought partner on a day to day basis, directly supporting the Vice President of Business Strategy.
Responsibilities
Develop financial models to help with forecasting and analyzing sales and help with pricing analytics
Evaluate effectiveness of promotions
Analyze and interpreted test results and provided financial recommendation and guidance
Provide Department level profitability Analysis; Support Space planning and allocation
Transaction and Basket Analysis to help with growth initiatives
Product planning, distribution, and inventory management
Identify relevant data sources and tools to further inform and evaluate customer segmentation, marketing and promotional campaigns, operations enablers, and various market-growth initiatives
Measures, tracks, and reports on the effectiveness of various Marketing Programs
Establish efficient data reports and processes to meet the needs of business partners; Create new reports as needed
Use financial and quantitative skills to work on a variety of research and analysis projects
Ad-hoc analyses as required
Required Skills
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Self-starter with strong organizational skills and excellent follow through
Strong PC skills including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Detail oriented
Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
Required Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field (MBA Preferred)
Three years of experience in financial modeling and analysis
Location: Greensboro, NC
Schedule: Full-timeEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
