Responsibilities include maintaining a fleet of trucks and drivers to make timely, accurate deliveries; suggesting routes; ensure department remains compliant with DOT guidelines; assist with safety meetings; ride with drivers as necessary; ensure department paperwork is complete; and other duties as assigned. Requires minimum of class A CDL with HazMat endorsement; ability to work flexible hours; ability to read and match numerical and alpha characters quickly; and basic computer skills. Mechanical ability and knowledge of DOT regulations is a plus.
Tentative Schedule:
This position works Monday - Friday. Hours will fluctuate with Transportation Supervisor, to help cover daytime office functions and evening dispatch functions.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
