We have an open position for a Horticulture Professional to work with our Golf Maintenance team! Position Function:
To coordinate and participate in the planting and routine care of trees and shrubs, ground covers, perennials and annual plantings throughout Grandover Resort.
Duties:
1.
Individual must have a strong work ethic and good eye for detail.
2.
Proficient operation of edger, blower, trimmer, mower, and other equipment.
3.
Knowledgeable or willingness to learn in the process of installing shrubs, trees and annual plant material within the landscape.
4.
Clean-up grounds and grounds maintenance practices in designated areas of the resort.
5.
Assists with appropriate weed/pest control (both manually and chemically) for beds lawn and landscape areas.
6.
Ability to provide proper maintenance, and be comfortable using multiple pieces of power equipment and machinery such as:
chainsaws, edger, weed eaters, push and /riding mowers, Backhoes, tractor, etc.
May procure supplies, parts and tools as needed.
7.
May perform special projects related to various aspects of Facilities Management as assigned by supervisor.
8.
Must be flexible and able to perform related duties as assigned.
Required
Qualifications:
Ability to read and write.
Valid Driver's License, desirable but not required.
Experience in Horticulture, landscape operations or related field desirable.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
