End User Support Specialist

Job DescriptionOur client is looking for a skilled End User Support professional for a 3-6 month contract, with the likelihood of extension.
The End User Support team provides deskside support to all IT users on hardware and software matters.
The team also supports project delivery and ensure technology standards across on-premises and cloud-based end user IT services and applications
Responsibilities:
o Provide technology, data and process support for an effective and professional IT service across the organization.
o Support, administration, maintenance and optimization of key functional areas across Microsoft Office 365 cloud applications and services, client platform technologies, enterprise device management and application deployment, manufacturing shop-floor application, audio-visual and printing Drive continuous technical improvement of the end user service portfolio, scope and satisfaction scores o Contribute in the end user technology selection, policies, standards, implementation and enforcement Support project teams, acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), by providing overall expertise and guidance on end-user-related aspects of technology product, architecture, design and implementation Contributor for Incident and Problem Management plus Service Requests to meet objectives to document SLA/T(s) and measurable KPI(s).
Asset and license management across the end user support scope as directed by the IT management team oProduce regular updates and information on system issues, root cause and resolutions and make them available to management, as requested Participate in the on-call rosta/responsibility for Major Incident Management as required.
Ensure the end user IT systems are maintained per current policies (areas to be agreed with manager) Where appropriate and if on site, assist with any on-site Operational Activities/ Incidents and Service Requests as logged via the Service Desk.
Offer expert advice / solution architecture design to peers within the field of end user support services.
Contribute to Technical High-Level and Low-Level Designs and associated documentation as requested Project management of small technical/infrastructure projects:
planning, scheduling, prioritizing and monitoring.
Liaise with external service providers and consultants to achieve successful delivery, contribute to utilization and monitoring efficient time/billing.
Provide Operational handover (documentation) for acceptance of all new technologies implemented.
24/7 Point of escalation for any end user support related issues and major incidents.
Requirements:
o Microsoft certification in at least one of operating system and Office365 or Azure 3
years of working within a multi-national organization with relevant experience in Modern Workplace/End User Support Must have hands-on experience in large-scale 24/7 enterprise environments hosting 000's of users, complex systems, multiple cloud services and business locations to have a good understanding of Windows-based computer systems, enterprise connectivity, Microsoft End User IT architecture technical solutions design and implementation Technical understanding of Microsoft end user technologies:
Intune device and app mgmt.
, SCCM with application packaging, AutoPilot and PowerShell scripting.
Manufacturing / Operational Technology environments Support applications across a global organization with on-premises and cloud-based services Technical understanding of Microsoft end user technologies:
Windows desktop and server (AD, DNS, DHCP), Office desktop apps, Office365 with EMS and associated scripting, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Citrix/RDS oUnderstanding of ERP CRM systems using Microsoft or equivalent technology Experience with Apple MacOS in corporate environments Office Audio-visual and printing Corporate security controls e.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
