Schedule-1.
Work 12 hours on day 1 and 2; then off on day 3 and 4.

Work 12 hours on day 5, 6, and 7; then off on day 8 and 9.

Work 12 hours on day 10 and 11; then off on day 12, 13, and 14.

Repeat step 1 3 above.
#LabTechnician#Manufacturing #Chemical#TechnicianBelcan is looking for a Lab Technician to join a top client of ours in Greensboro, NC for a second shift, 12 hour nights (8pm-8 am).
The technician will be responsible for assisting in the coordination of manufacturing quality control laboratory activities, including testing, maintenance, preparation, housekeeping and storage of chemical product samples.
Main ResponsibilitiesEnsures the cleanliness and appropriate maintenance of quality control and laboratory areas and equipment as required, promoting environmental cleanliness, safety and efficiency.
Maintains required lab equipment and supplies, verifying contents and ensuring items are stored and maintained appropriately.
Assists in the preparation and calibration of quality control testing and set-up, ensuring equipment is properly maintained and cleaned prior to and following each use.
Perform routine and general sample analysis as needed or required, safely handling, disposing and storing supplies and materials as appropriate.
Disposes and stores material samples according to Department procedures and guidelines.
Completes Department documentation such as log sheets and checklists according to established protocol.
Analysis and interpretation of analytical data, equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
Understanding the manufacturing processes and developing the ability to recognize potential process upsets or deviations using analytical data.
Adhering to precise test methods that require significant attention to detail and accuracy.
RequirementsMinimum of two-year college degree in sciences, with four-year degree preferredAbility to follow written instructions with accuracy and precision.
Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
Detail orientedPrevious quality control laboratory experience preferred.
Previous plant manufacturing experience in a chemical production and/or distribution environment preferred.
Basic knowledge of hazardous materials and the appropriate handling and disposal of such products preferred.
Knowledge of production operations environment, including logistics, quality, and safety preferred.
Superior oral and written communication and comprehension skills.
Basic knowledge of basic manufacturing safety and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality and Responsible Care standards preferred.
Ability to function independently with minimal supervision while meeting assigned deadlines.
Ability to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality, flexibility and adaptability.
Basic computer software and data retrieval system knowledge; SAP experience preferred.
Ability to meet and maintain established occupational demands and fitness for duty requirements.
