Who is our next employee? Our next employee is an individual with strong customer service skills, an investigative nature, and an awareness of things around them.
Their primary responsibility will be as a technician with complimentary responsibilities in customer service and sales.
Customer Service Skills:
We help customers make well informed decisions.
Clear and timely communication with customers is an essential part of that purpose.
Technicians are expected to keep customers informed using our point-of-sale system's SMS and email tools, as well as phone calls and in-person conversations.
Investigative Nature:
We help customers make well informed decisions.
(Sound familiar?) Technicians need to gather answers to three important questions, and to document the answers for the record and for the reference of others.
The three questions are:

What does it need? 3.
What do we recommend? Awareness and Initiative:
Each team member must possess, or promptly develop, a sense of awareness of the state of things around them.
Just like at home, be aware of what needs to be done, then take the initiative to do it.
This is true for a broad range of things in our workspace from identifying aging service tickets to putting away tools to taking out trash.
Overview of Responsibilities Our next employee is punctual.
Our service department hours are 10:
00-6:
00, Monday through Friday.
Coverage during these hours is required so coordination with others is important.
Our Greensboro location's retail space is also open each Saturday, 10:
00-2:
00, which will not be a regular part of your week.
Lunch breaks range from 30 minutes minimum to 60 minutes maximum and may vary day to day and from one employee to another.
Many team members work 9:
30-6:
00 with a 30-minute lunch.
Technicians pull devices from an incoming service queue, perform inspections and diagnostics, and draw sound conclusions on the three questions:
What is it? What does it need? What do we recommend? Technicians communicate promptly with customers throughout the service process.
Service tickets can be resolved in a variety of ways.
When a new computer is recommended, a technician should be able to advise a customer on the options available from I.
T.
Worx.
(Yes, we service AND sell computers!) Our daily activity includes effective use of the RepairShopr point-of-sale system, Slack, Kerio email, as well as myriad websites and access portals.
Being engaged through good communication is required.
You must not be timid about asking questions and searching resources.
Learning how to accurately document your work will be challenging.
It is important that you understand coming in the need to rise to the challenge of creating accurate documents throughout the service process, ranging from inbound service tickets to outbound invoices.
Are you a possible candidate? If you have experience servicing, and using, Apple devices (Mac, iOS, software and hardware), that's a start.
If these acronyms mean something to you (GSX, REPTAT, ATLAS, MRI, and AST) because you are an Apple Certified Technician already, you are a particularly strong candidate.
PC skills are increasingly important at I.
T.
Worx as more and more users are adopting mixed platform solutions in their homes and offices.
If you have experience troubleshooting PCs and/or Windows operating systems, those skills will be put to use.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
