PARTT02333 Showing 1 location Job Details Description As the Part-time Tier 1 PC Technical Support Specialist, you provide first level technical expertise, guidance, and support to Tanger network users on multiple platforms and operating systems during nights, weekends, and holidays.

Competitive salary 401(k) with generous employer match Voluntary Accident/Cancer/Critical Care Insurance Paid bereavement leave Acting as the first line of support you will respond to calls to provide technical assistance, problem solve, perform diagnostics, troubleshoot, and deliver information to desktop computer systems, peripheral hardware, iPhone, and software used at Tanger.
You will develop and maintain strong customer relationships by responding to end users within required response times, keeping them informed of resolution path and verifying complete resolution of reported issues.
We will look to you to assist end users with day-to-day technical questions or problems in association with Tanger internal systems, point of sales system, corporate office applications, iPhones, etc.
You will install, configure, test, repair, maintain, and support local and regional area PC hardware, software applications, and printers.
Reviewing machine performance, error logs, and utilization information you will determine the cause of failures or performance degradation.
You will remotely access computer equipment to make changes and fix problems.
Using your strong organization and prioritization skills, you will open support requests in ticketing software for every reported problem with thorough details including scope, impact, and priority.
Keenly aware of departments protocol, you will identify issues and properly escalate unresolved tickets to Tier II Support Techs, Helpdesk Director, Network Team or the Development Team, being sure to provide a detailed description of the problem and troubleshooting steps already taken.
Being sure to document findings in the ticketing software, you will research solutions to recurring software problems and make appropriate changes.
As needed, you will work with team members to install computer or network hardware such as desktops, laptops, printers, etc.
As problems are resolved, you will close tickets and ensure all steps are completely documented.
You will deploy and ship devices as needed for new and existing users and set up workstations.
If needed, you will contact outside support/vendor reps to resolve escalated customer issues.
You will perform routine maintenance on systems as needed and other duties as assigned.

You possess a strong technical aptitude with an understanding of PC and laptop hardware, operating systems, business applications, printing systems, iPhones, and general network knowledge.

You have a basic knowledge of Local Area Networking, Active Directory, MacOS and iOS.
You are proficient in all company issued software programs such as, Microsoft Office 365, internet browser programs, Kace, Adaxes, ScreenConnect, UKG, SharePoint, MRI, Concur, Nexus Payables, POS systems, Adobe, and are able to quickly learn Tanger systems.
Your education includes at least a 2 year technical degree at an accredited technical school/college or on the job experience equivalent to a two-year technical program.
You are able to travel via commercial airlines and maintain a valid driver's license to operate your own vehicle or rental car in a safe manner.
This position requires no travel.
You are comfortable working a flexible schedule which will vary and include nights, weekends, and holidays.
