This position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and will be responsible for damages, cleanouts, and general housekeeping within the warehouse.
Position requires working in environments with variation in temperature and humidity (e.
g.
, Dry, Cooler and Freezer areas).
Responsibilities Ensure that the selecting isles are aligned, and product is brought forward.
Ensure that the floor is kept clear of any debris that would hinder the selecting process.
Clean out company trailers; remove empty pallets/crates and organize for pickup.
Scrub the floor when needed.
Ensure the scrubber is cleaned at the end of each shift.
Provide equipment for the selecting process, i.
e.
, cardboard separators and pallets.
Power wash trash receptacles.
Cleans break room and restrooms.
Safely operate all equipment utilized to perform tasks associated with role.
Maintain Company standards for safety, attendance, and conduct.
Maintain proper and safe lifting techniques.
Immediately advise supervisor of any unsafe conditions or accidents.
Attend all required Company meetings.
Follow NDCP's Good Distribution Practices.
Assist in the orderly maintenance & general housekeeping of the warehouse.
Cross train in other functions and perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications Ability to work flexible days and hours.
Schedule may include weekends and holidays High school diploma or equivalent education and/or experience Desire and ability to work in a collaborative work environment Ability to follow simple instructions Must be punctual and reliable Willingness to learn Ability to work without supervision Attention to detail Excellent communication skills Job Type:
