Primary Purpose of the Organizational Unit Mission Statement.
The Office of Research and Engagement provides support and strategic direction to faculty, staff and students for research and creative endeavors resulting in scholarship, innovation, economic development, and community engagement.
Fostering a culture of research integrity, the Office promotes a vigorous and robust learning environment, supports innovation, and facilitates reciprocal partnerships that transform the public research university for the 21st century, making a difference in the lives of students and the communities it serves.
Position Summary Serve as lead Web Developer for the Office of Research and Engagement as well as its 5 departments, 9 centers/initiatives and several coalitions across campus.
Position requires ability to use modern web development tools, design dynamic web content, manage numerous website, participate in complex solutions development and work with a variety of clients.
Minimum Qualifications Entry-level with Masters; Bachelors and 0-2 years of experience; Or equivalent education/experience.
Web design experience.
Experience designing websites for mobile devices.
Strong communication skills Additional Required Certifications, Licensures, and Certificates Preferred Qualifications Experience in a higher education research setting.
Working Knowledge of PHP,CSS and experience in developing WordPress Themes.
Knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics to drive website traffic.
