This position requires a strong commitment to protecting assets and data by preventing unauthorized entry, monitoring alarms and equipment and performing high-level security audits.
The successful candidate will have experience working in the security industry, a high level of commitment to keeping our company's assets secure and a background in law enforcement and/or military service.
Responsibilities:
Report unusual activity or items to supervisors.
Respond to alarms and alert appropriate personnel.
Monitor alarm systems, fire protection equipment, and security devices to ensure they are working properly or notify appropriate personnel if they are not.
Issue parking permits or citation tickets.
Monitor vehicles parked in designated areas to ensure they are not illegally parked or stolen.
Conduct spot checks of registration tags on parked vehicles to verify that they match the corresponding parking permit.
Respond to emergency situations such as fires and medical emergencies by calling for emergency assistance; escorting incapacitated persons out of the building; and coordinating evacuation efforts with other emergency response personnel.
