Description
This technician's role is to ensure prompt support to both corporate and field employees via support application, personal interaction, telephone, email and logging those interactions into the support database. This position reports to the IT Corporate Helpdesk Manager.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
The installation and configuration of new computers
Mobile device activation, configuration and support for office & field employees
Supporting all computer systems and peripherals at our corporate office locations
Maintaining accurate computer and peripheral inventory in addition to providing maintenance of these items to ensure proper working condition
Administering the deployment of appropriate security patches, hot fixes, software updates as well as PC cleaning and protection for corporate & field computers
Contacting and working with outside vendors in an effort to resolve additional issues
Creating documentation for new systems and processes as needed.

Demonstrated ability to evaluate critical systems, prioritize workloads as well as work systematically to absorb and retain information
The ability to work independently or collaboratively

Credentials and
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Technology/related field, CompTIA A
certification or equivalent education and work experience - Required
2
years of hardware experience - required
2
years of Microsoft Windows & Office Suite application experience - required
2
years customer service experience - required
Peripheral experience is a plus
Microsoft Exchange experience is a plus
CompTIA Net
certification is a plus
Citrix Xenapp experience is a plus
Autodesk AutoCAD experience is a plus
Special Requirements:
Must be able to lift objects up to 50 lbs
Location: Greensboro, NC
Schedule: Full-timeEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
