We are currently engaged with a client seeking a Porfolio Manager on a full time, direct hire basis. In this role, the Portfolio Manager will be:
Responsible for managing multiple diverse Information Technology portfolios.
Assist in the development and inplementation of Project Management training.
Participates in and regularly contributes to meetings within the PMO to assist with the continuous improvement and development.
Oversees and manages key project relationships.
Oversees and manages portfolio budget.
Ensures consistency in approach/implementation of project management framework/standards.
The appropriate individual will have the following
Experience:
Porfolio management.
Project Management expertise utilizing PMBOK; PMP highly desirable.
Lead all stages of project delivery life cycle: Initiation, planning, execution, and closing.
Financial management and cost / benefit analysis.
Formal development and delivery of Project Management training.
Proven strength in influencing and leading cross-functional teams.
Clarity portfolio/project management application or similar tool.
Strong written and oral communication, including presentations and negotiation skills.
Global experience is desirable.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
